MARRIAGE

2024.3

Materials: Oil on canvas

Size: 40*60 inches

This is a piece about marriage, created during a time when I was filled with longing for it. I used lines to guide the viewer's gaze, dividing the entire composition into different shapes. In this scene, the audience watches the concept of marriage unfold in a cinema, while a hand emerges from the screen, revealing a wedding ring on its finger. The overlapping spaces in the painting create a sense of interplay between the hand, the figures, and the theater, blurring the lines between reality and the cinematic experience.
